Around 80 people attended a recent 4Homeopathy seminar that explored ways in which homeopathy can be promoted and marketed more effectively.

It also provided advice and information to equip practitioners with the knowhow and confidence to speak up individually and collectively.

The London event was organised by 4Homeopathy, the advocacy body for homeopathic organisations - including the Society of Homeopaths - which campaigns on key issues including legislative change and policy development.

The programme was varied and interactive with delegates being given every opportunity to exchange ideas and inspiration.  Topics included the use of social media, responding to detractors and Homeopathy Awareness Week.

4Homeopathy is committed to building on the enthusiasm of the day and a new Facebook page has been set up to continue and develop the debate.

Alex Winkler attended the day as a board member of the Society and was encouraged by the energy shown by all attendees.

“The event was a brilliant and stimulating occasion to exchange new ideas on how to make our profession less isolated, more visible and open to the world through social media, creative videos and other sorts of individual or group initiatives,” he said. “The momentum of this event is gaining traction: add your energy to it and share your ideas in the forum.”
