As the number of people dealing with mental health difficulties continues to rise, this webinar is aimed at giving members the support they need.

Michael will explore 

  • the benefits and limitations of the repertory for a practising homeopath.
  •  mental health and psychiatry rubrics to reflect modern mental health terminology/classification and theories
  •  treating patients with suicidality, exploring modern suicide theories with corresponding rubrics and materia medica
  • advice for practical case management for patients presenting with suicidality

About Michael

Michael J. Bird RSHom is Co-Principal at South Downs School of Homeopathy, located at Chichester University. Michael has worked for ‘Homeopathy in the Sussex Community’ (HISC). HISC is a non-profit organisation that delivers low-cost Homeopathic clinics to marginalized groups across Sussex, working with domestic abuse, sexual violence charities and mental health service providers. Michael facilitated a weekly mental health clinic for over seven years at the ‘Wellbeing Hub at Preston Park’, Brighton. He is currently involved in delivering a pilot clinic at a homelessness charity in Hove.

​Michael teaches a wide range of Homeopathy and Mental health topics. The topics covered in Michael’s lectures include Homeopathy, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Trauma, Suicide, Addiction, Substance Misuse, Personality Disorders, Psychiatric Medication, Diagnostic Classification, Trauma Informed Practice and Self Care.
