Demo of ways to link to attachments (docs, pdfs etc)

(If embedding a video, this needs to be added into the content of a page.Add the link into a resource page and check the video category. This can then be referred to in the same way as the attachments.  ) Media can be referred to.. ..as part of content on a page:
  1. Link to the file directly . In the content editor, click "add media", choose the file you wish to link to and select 'link to media file' in the attachment settings. Do this when referring to documents within content and users understand what the document is and why they need to download it.
  2. Link to the attachment page In the content editor, click "add media", choose the file you wish to link to and select 'link to attachment page' in the attachment settings. Do this when referring to documents within content and users may need some more information about why they need it or whether they should download it. 
..as a list of resources in the resource section:
  1. Ensure that all files to be included in the list have the same category applied. Create a resource archive page in resources. Choose "add post element" and select "archive list". Select "attachment" as the post type. enter the category name into the category field (post type categories should only be used to specify the type of item where relevant, such as forms or journals).[archivelist type="attachment" postcategory="97" /] This list will be automatically updated to include new documents that are uploaded to the category referred to and gives users the option to see more information or simply download the file. - Do this when there are a group of documents that a user group may need to refer to. - Do this in order to create a set of resources under the resources menu. - Do this when more documents may be added at a future time so they will be automatically added to a list when uploaded to the category. 
..as a list of resources within page content:
  1. Do the same as above but this can be included as part of the content of any existing page.
