Society members Francis Treuherz and Alexandre Winkler won a place on the Society board of directors following the AGM this weekend.

Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford provided a beautiful setting for the 2017 Members' Day and AGM. Francis and Alex beat colleagues Margaret Kincade, Lucy Teixeira and Sonia Orr in the election following a postal vote culminating in a live election on the day.

Members turned out to mark the occasion with a morning of presentations by popular Dutch homeopath Alize Timmerman followed by a discussion on the topical subject of antimicrobial resistance with Society Research Consultant Alison Fixsen. The AGM took place at the end of the day and incorporated a series of awards to new Fellows of the Society as well as education awards for outstanding work in the field of homeopathy education.

Francis Treuherz is an experienced homeopath with a long career in committee work following a number of years on the Society board. Alexandre Winkler is a newly qualified practitioner with a background in investment banking. Kiran Grover and Mike Andrews leave the board following a 6 year term of office
