Amy particularly supports children and young adults with Down syndrome. This often involves those with dual diagnoses (including ASD, ADHD and SPD, for example) as well as regression (Down Syndrome Regression Disorder/DSRD), PANS/PANDAS and a range of other health issues: particularly gut, bowel, thyroid, skin and autoimmune issues.
Amy also takes on a range of complex paediatric cases, spanning other neurodevelopmental and genetic conditions. She is passionate about supporting families facing difficult diagnoses and health challenges.
Amy draws upon her own experience as the parent of a child with Down syndrome and the congenital bowel condition Hirschprung’s.
Amy has a physical practice in Comber, County Down, where she sees clients in person. She also works remotely with clients worldwide.
Amy is a Practitioner Member of the Trisomy 21 Research Foundation Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) and specialises in supporting those with Down syndrome.
