Wendy qualified as a professional homeopath in 1992. She learnt a lot about acute prescribing from practicing in Zambia and treating her own children. Years later in 2015 as a nurse, she retrained with the Faculty of Homeopathy joining as a nurse member. In 2018 she worked voluntarily in homeopathy clinics in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Ghana. The finest part of homeopathic clinical work is the opportunity to engage with each patient as a unique individual, with their subjective experience of symptoms as the main approach to prescribing. She spent many years attending postgraduate clinical workshops with a classical homeopath – Sheilagh Creasy – this has been the most influential part of my learning to work with chronic conditions.
