A massive thank you to the Society of Homeopaths and everyone who works hard behind the scenes to bring “The Wisdom of the Crones” conference together.
The speakers all had such amazing wisdom and knowledge to share. I was glued for the entire day and I am so grateful for the well thought out comfort and meal breaks. It is good to have enough time to move and stretch about – and is exactly what I remind my clients to do (so good we are practising what we preach!)
This is the first time I have attended a Society of Homeopath’s conference, and I have been a member since the 1990’s. Having alternate years on-line has certainly made attendance more accessible for me. I was certainly not disappointed.
So, what was the conference all about. The Crone stage of life is the stage of wisdom, when we transition from our fertile years, to a time of freedom, but also of age related health issues. It is a time when we need to care more for ourselves, and aim to recover from the pressures of child rearing, working and struggling with all the balancing acts and stresses that go along with it. It is a time when we start to reconnect with ourselves, and what we want.
The wonderful speakers all had amazing experience to share, remedy patterns and such a wonderful array of approaches to how they tackle a case.
I loved all of the presentations, covering therapeutics, case studies, and alterative ways to look at the remedy picture. I do not want to spoil the replay for you, but I feel it is not one to be missed, as all of the presenters were very knowledgeable.
Who was my favourite, I can not pick just one, I loved them all, but my two favourites align with the way I like to work.
Marylin brought her tool box of nutrition and fantastic recommendations on supplements that were formulated with Peri menopause and menopause in mind, taking out the stress a practitioner experiences when putting together supplementation protocols alongside remedy programs. Thank you Marilyn for such a comprehensive presentation on this aspect of a case.
Myriam’s amazing presentation skills were so engaging, covering connections with other alternative therapies and remedies. It was a very dynamic lecture with much food for thought. I love the way Myriam combines the aspects of the different remedies in her prescription style.
Would I recommend this seminar, a whole hearted yes, The information and prescribing styles shared are invaluable to anyone working, or wanting to work with women as they enter the perimenopause and beyond.
