The Society International Recognition Scheme (SIRS) offers education and training providers an opportunity to demonstrate commitment to high standards in professional homeopathic education.

The SIRS framework
SIRS-recognised courses are expected to demonstrate standards equivalent to UK Higher Education Level 6 and alignment with the Society’s Course Standards Framework.
The framework is informed by:
- UK Higher Education Level 6 standards
- Complementary and Natural Healthcare National Occupational Standards (CNH NOS)
- Core Criteria for Homeopathic Practice (CC)
- Professional ethical and educational principles
Recognition process overviewÂ
Step 1 – Review of the SIRS Handbook
The handbook provides detailed guidance regarding standards, evidence requirements and recognition procedures.
Step 2 – Request an application form
Contact the Society to discuss your course and request an application form
Step 3 – Submission of documentation
Providers submit descriptive and supporting documentation demonstrating alignment with the Society’s standards framework.
Step 4 – Independent review and evaluation
Applications are reviewed by assessors with educational and professional expertise.
Step 5 – Recognition outcome
Where standards are met, courses may be granted SIRS recognition status subject to annual review.
