Voting opens and papers posted ahead of Society AGM

    [post_content] => The Society's annual general meeting takes place next month and will include a range of key announcements on Society business, including the results of elections to the board.

Voting is now open for the two vacant board places. The candidates are: Sue Crump, Selina Hatherley, Margaret Kincade and Linda Wicks.

Voting is postal only again this year with a closing date of Friday March 8.

The AGM will also see the announcement of Society awards including Education and Teaching Awards, Society Fellowships and the presentation to the winner of the Student Literary Prize, Jo Magowan,

Papers have been posted on the members' section of the website under My Society/AGM 2019 for members to scrutinise ahead of the meeting.

The AGM will be held on Saturday March 23 in the afternoon as part of the Society's annual conference which runs from March 22-24 at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford.

Before the main business, delegates can join colleagues for a general discussion.

The theme of this year's conference is pregnancy and childbirth and it features star presentations from ‘Three Wise Women’, Karen Allen, Linda Gwillim and Patricia Hatherly plus a programme of talks, seminars and workshops across the three days.
