Course Accreditation

Whether your course is new, or already running,  you’ll want to offer your students an assurance of quality and the certainty that you achieved the recognition of the longest standing professional organisation for homeopaths.

We aim to make the process of course accreditation as straightforward and rewarding as we can. As busy practitioners and teachers, you need to know that your commitment is beneficial and that it supports the development of your course

High standards

The Society is committed to maintaining high standards in education and practice and to working in partnership with organisations that share these goals.

Our Education Department has dual-qualified Education Advisors supported by sound administrative back-up. For 20 years, we have worked through consultative processes to set and maintain the standards of professional education in homeopathy.

By working with the Society’s accreditation system, colleges ensure their students receive an education that is comprehensive, professional and vibrant, and publicly endorsed by an experienced panel of independent reviewers.

Applying for accreditation

If you’d like to apply for Society accreditation of your course, you should read our Guidelines for Course Accreditation.

The booklet answers many of your questions, steers you through the application process and includes links to appropriate helpful references.

Course accreditation is a crucial regulatory function and an opportunity to support course providers and teachers of homeopathy. Because we want to help them share and develop enthusiasm in their work we facilitate an ongoing programme of self-evaluation and feedback, regular visits and educational workshops. We also highlight good practice through our annual Teaching Innovation Award.
