Selina Hatherley and Ian Hamilton have been elected to the Society of Homeopaths Board.

Selina and Ian came top of the poll, which was postal vote-only in an election including colleagues Padmapriya Nair and Michelle Riches.

The results of the election were announced at the AGM which took place online on Thursday 28th April. Society Chair Linda Wicks thanked Pamapriya and Michelle for their support and time in standing for election.

Selina will be serving her second term as a Board Director. She has practised for 20 years and brings specialist knowledge from her years in running a clinic for people with drug, alcohol and mental health problems as well as from her role heading the team at SidebySide, a clinic supporting the community at Grenfell Tower in London.

Ian joins the board with 34 years experience as a practising homeopath. He has worked with many schools and colleges either as a student, a teacher or as a Society representative. Ian was also editor of the Society journal for 5 years.

Society Fellow Linda Wicks stood down from the Board following two terms as Director and three years as Chair of the Board.

The Society paid tribute to the work Linda has put in over the years as a member, Fellow, member of staff, Chair and Board member.  Her contribution and commitment has been huge and her energy and knowledge will be greatly missed.

Board members bring a range of experience and skills to the table to support the Society’s work in lobbying, advocacy and policy-making, as well as holding the Society itself to account.
