The Society of Homeopaths is looking for a patient of homeopathy to sit on its Professional Standards Committee (PSC)

The PSC ensure members of the Society achieve and maintain the highest standards in quality of care and patient safety. The committee meets three times per annum, usually in London, and is made up of qualified homeopaths, independent members and, from May 2017, a patient.

The Professional Standards Authority, who accredited the Society, require PSC as a degree of autonomy and independence within the Society as it oversees standards, professional conduct, education, registration and research.

Chief Executive Mark Taylor said "We have no set ideas on the qualities and characteristics we are looking for aside from an interest and enthusiasm for homeopathy. It would also be good if candidates had some experience of working within a committee."

The position is not remunerated, but travel expenses will be paid. Expressions of interest to Mark Taylor Chief Executive at mark_homeopathy-soh.org by Monday 27th February. For an informal chat about the post, please contact Mark to arrange a telephone call.
