[post_content] => The Society is joining in with the other major homeopathy bodies under the banner of 4Homeopathy to campaign against more proposed cuts.

NHS England is currently running a consultation exercise that is proposing the end of NHS prescribing of remedies in England -  despite the fact that there is considerable demand and the total cost to the tax payer is £92,000 - under 0.0001% of the NHS budget.

Mark Taylor, Chief Executive of the Society feels it is important for the authorities to understand how much popular support there is out there for homeopathy. ‘There seems to be an arrogance within health administrators and politicians that they can simply ignore the wishes of a significant section of the population as well as the evidence. We need to show them that patient choice means just that. We are hoping that all Homeopaths can make their voices heard and, more importantly, get their patients to express their anger and frustration. We need to do this by responding to the consultation, which ends on 21st October but also to take part in a wider campaign’

Respond to the questionnaire. Section 4.7 relates to homeopathy and comments can as long or as brief as members want. The deadline is 21st October 2017.
