[post_content] => Voting has opened in the election to the Society of Homeopaths board of directors with the ballot switching to postal-votes only for the first time this year.

Four candidates, all RSHom, are standing for two board places. They are:
  • Maggie Dixon (existing board director)
  • Beccy Goldberg
  • Margaret Kincade
  • Suse Moebius
Each candidate has also made a short video as part of their election pitch this year. The videos can be seen by logging into the members' area of the website and viewing Society matters/Board Elections 2018 candidate details. The decision to switch to an all-postal vote, rather than an option of postal or voting in person at the annual general meeting, gives every member a chance to assess candidates equally, said Mark Taylor, the Society's Chief Executive. "The 2017 AGM overwhelmingly voted for a change in the Society's rules, accepting that the ballot would be more equitable if it was postal ballot only," he said. "This year, for the first time, all members get to vote on exactly the same candidate information and details." A candidate brochure and voting paper were mailed to members earlier this month (March). Voting closes on 6th April.   [post_title] => Four candidates in running for election to Society's board [post_excerpt] => [post_status] => publish [comment_status] => open [ping_status] => open [post_password] => [post_name] => four-candidates-in-running-for-election-to-societys-board [to_ping] => [pinged] => [post_modified] => 2018-07-04 11:50:18 [post_modified_gmt] => 2018-07-04 10:50:18 [post_content_filtered] => [post_parent] => 0 [guid] => https://homeopathy-soh.org/?p=14079 [menu_order] => 0 [post_type] => post [post_mime_type] => [comment_count] => 0 [filter] => raw )
