My practice – how to make your data meaningful in practice – with Lucinda Torabi RSHom and Dr Philippa Fibert FSHom – 13th October – 12.30pm-2.00pm

Harnessing the power of the patient voice

Ever wondered what to do with all your MYMOP data?  Following on from My Practice – the patient voice which took place earlier this year,  Lucinda Torabi and Philippa Fibert will show you how you can use MYMOPs to harness the power of the patient voice to reinforce and promote the positives of homeopathy.

The session will cover the use of MYMOPs to help you to:

  • audit your practice
  • promote your practice and homeopathy either via your website or social media or through journals
  • apply for funding eg for low cost clinics
  • learn more about research opportunities

Who is this for?

As the session will cover a short review of what MYMOPs are and how they work, it will be suitable for students and practitioners who are completely new to them as well as those who already have experience of using them.

About Dr Philippa Fibert FSHom

Philippa initially worked as a special needs teacher. After having her own children, she trained as a homeopath at Purton House, and decided to specialise in the treatment of children’s behavioural disorders. She did a BSc in Homeopathy at Thames Valley University, where she conducted a Literature review of the Trials of Homeopathy for ADHD. She then conducted a Consecutive Case Series exploring the effectiveness of homeopathic treatment for children with ADHD. After starting this project she realised that she didn’t have a clue how to interpret the data, and did an MSc in research methods at Goldsmiths University. She became hooked on research and completed a PhD, conducting a clinical trial testing the effectiveness of homeopathic treatment and nutritional therapy for ADHD at Sheffield University. Along with Clare Relton she is currently working on ways to record patient’s outcomes, pioneering the Pod Project, which she hopes to persuade lots of homeopaths to get involved in.

About Lucinda Torabi RSHom

Lucinda, an Oxford based homeopath, studied at the School of Homeopathy and has 30 years experience in practice including 2 years living in Sarajevo running a training program in classical homeopathy. She has been using MYMOPs in her practice for a few years now and will be sharing her experience and knowledge.
