My Practice – A taste of the art of acute – with Marcus Christo –  Thursday 24th March, 2022, 12.30pm-2.00pm

For students, recently qualified homoeopaths or those that have been in practice for some time.

Have you wanted to improve your acute case taking skills?

Have you ever been frustrated with your acute case results?

Have you wanted to learn about acute case taking?

Have you ever wanted to expand your practice but were unsure how?

Have you ever thought about volunteering to work with ‘Travelling Homoeopaths Collective but hate camping and loud music?

If you have answered yes to any of these questions then this is a taste of a day developed by Marcus Christo FSHom founder and one of the trustees of Travelling Homoeopaths Collective.

Marcus will explore a very easy method in acute case taking that works every time!

Travelling Homoeopaths Collective is one of the UK longest surviving charities providing drop-in clinics at outdoor events, over the past 32 years!

About Marcus Christo

Marcus graduated from the College of Homœopathy in June 1990. In the same year he founded ‘Travelling Homœopaths Collective’ (Registered Charity No 1063247). Which provides a drop in clinic and information service at outdoor events.  In 1994 Marcus became a Member of the College of Homeopathy and also became a Registered member of The Society of Homeopaths.

Pre homeopathy he worked within the Catering Industry at supervisory and management levels, where he acquired useful skills. One of the places he worked in was The Royal London Homeopathic Hospital; it was here his path was set!

Over the years Marcus has presented lectures at various conferences for The Society of Homeopaths and Homeopathic Medical Association.  He has also developed the hugely successful training day for ‘Travelling Homœopaths Collective’

In 2004 he was awarded the highest honour the profession has to offer and became a Fellow of The Society of Homeopaths.

In 2005 he decided it was time to take Acute prescribing teaching to the wider profession and launched a one day workshop called ‘The Art of The Acute’ which has been received very well!

In recent months and years Marcus has also lectured for South Downs College, Welsh School of Homoeopathy, Hahnemann College of Homeopathy, RSH UK and The Trinity Health Hub. The latter was an hourly monthly slot.

Back in 2009 Marcus and  Charlotte set up the amazingly successful The Homoeopathic Camp, which ran for 8 years. A conference under canvas, sadly they lost the site it took place on, but will be bringing this experience back soon.

Marcus is married to his wonderful wife Charlotte and has three sons and lives in Damerham.  As well as being passionate about homeopathy they grow their own vegetables and fruit in their very large garden.

Marcus enjoys cycling and in 2014 did a 200 mile ride around the Netherlands for the THC and raised £8k for their new project.  His other big passion in life is playing and learning to play the Tabla, these are two drums played by movements from the wrist and dominate the sound of Indian classical music.

Marcus practices in Damerham and Ringwood.
