[post_content] => There is still time to vote in the election for two new members of the board of the Society of Homeopaths ahead of the deadline on Friday (March 8).

Sue Crump, Selina Hatherley, Margaret Kincade and Linda Wicks are the four candidates and election is by postal-vote only again this year.

All four have been responding to questions on the Society's members' forum, a move introduced for 2019 to enable members to quiz the candidates on specific issues.

In more than 100 contributions to the forum (now closed), questions raised included how the Society might be more responsive to members' views, topics for fresh Society campaigns, the Society's role in homeopathy research, public perceptions of homeopathy, and whether the Society might collaborate with other organisations to set up its own homeopathy clinics.

The election results will be announced at the annual general meeting and conference at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, March 22-24.

The AGM will also see the announcement of Society awards including Education and Teaching Awards, Society Fellowships and the presentation to the winner of the Student Literary Prize, Jo Magowan,

Papers have been posted on the members’ section of the website under My Society/AGM 2019 for members to scrutinise ahead of the meeting.
