[post_content] => Candidates for election to the Society's board of directors have been responding to questions online as part of the Society's efforts to engage more members in the election process.

The four candidates - Sue Crump, Selina Hatherley, Margaret Kincade and Linda Wicks - are taking part in the Q&A in the members’ area of the website until Monday March 4.

Topics raised can relate to homeopathy matters, the running of the Society, policy development, governance or any other issue relevant to the Society's role and work.

So far, candidates have faced questions on:
  • The Society's openness to different prescribing methods.
  • If the Society's work to retain accredited register status with the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) has been worthwhile.
  • How the Society can best listen to member’s views.
  • Whether there is a need to move away from the sole trader model of business to develop a new professional structure for practising homeopaths.
Members are encouraged to start a new thread on the forum for each topic so that candidates may address people’s points individually.
