[post_content] => Nominations are invited to fill two seats on the Society’s board for three-year terms.

Candidates must consider the Society to be their professional home, must understand and embrace the concept of a governance role, and have a good awareness of professional standards as well as being able to think strategically about the organisation's growth and development.

Anyone interested in the role must be an RSHom and be nominated by two other RSHoms.

Supported by a strong staff team, successful applicants will be required to spend approximately one day a month on Society business for which they will receive a small honorarium and expenses.

All candidates will be given the opportunity to post a short film on the members’ area of the website, along with a photograph and a short statement.

The two places are available due to Sue Crump and Linda Wicks standing down at the end of their terms. Both are both eligible to stand for re-election.

"We are encouraging as many members as possible to put their names forward to take on this worthwhile and important role for the next three years," said Mark Taylor, Chief Executive of the Society. "The board shapes the Society's strategy and philosophy, in tandem with the membership, and board members are key advocates for homeopathy to the wider world. People who are new to governance as well as those with experience from other sectors are very welcome."

Closing date for nominations is Friday January 25 2019 and, for the second year, the ballot will by postal vote only. Further details about the application process and the role of directors are available on the Society website here
