[post_content] => Nominations are now open for elections to the Society of Homeopaths’ Board of Directors.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of governance, a commitment to high professional standards and patient needs, and be able to contribute to the Society’s long-term development, including growing the membership.

They will be required to spend approximately one day per month on Society business – with the full support of staff – for which they will receive a small honorarium and expenses. Directors are elected for a three-year term of office but may stand again after their first term.

Candidates must be current Registered Members and nominated by two other Registered Members of the Society. They must provide a 300-word election statement, a photograph of themselves and an up-to-date CV. There is one vacancy on the Board this year.

Candidates are invited to post a short video on the website making their case for election and the Society has put together some guidelines to help. More details are in the members’ area of the website under My Society/Board of Directors/Nominations to the Board of Directors

Nominations close on 10 February at 5pm.

The election will be a postal vote with the results announced ahead of the AGM, which takes place online on Thursday 15th April.
