[post_content] => Enid Segall, a long-standing advocate of and fundraiser for homeopathy, has died at the age of 84.

Enid was chair of the Friends of the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine - formerly the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital - and a supporter of 4Homeopathy, the umbrella organisation for homeopathy bodies.

In recent years, she was a key supporter of the campaign led by the British Homeopathic Association to overturn NHS England's decision to stop funding homeopathic medicines.

She is reported to have died suddenly but peacefully at home on June 21.

Mark Taylor, Chief Executive of the Society of Homeopaths, said Enid's passion for homeopathy had made her a formidable champion of the cause.

"For years, the Friends organisation has been a powerful patient voice and advocate and Enid has been a driving force behind it. In everything she did she provided energy and a steely determination. The homeopathy world is diminished without her."

More information will be posted on The Friends website.
