[post_content] => Homeopathic Vet and Society Registered member Mark Elliott has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship (Vet FFHom) of the Faculty of Homeopathy.

Mark studied veterinary medicine at Bristol University in the 80’s before studying a veterinary course at the former Royal London Homeopathic Hospital, gaining the VetMFHom in 1996. Mark continued his homeopathy studies at the School of Homeopathy ahead of registering with the Society of Homeopaths in 2006.

Mark said "The award came as a complete surprise and I feel very honoured to receive the Fellowship and recognition of my peers.

Homeopathy has played a huge part in my life, from successful treatment for severe asthma as a child by the family doctor enabling me to go onto participation in endurance sport, to being the mainstay and philosophy of my veterinary (and occasional human) practice this last 32 years.

I have been lucky to study with the likes of Jeremy Sherr and Misha Norland, to have worked through a terribly exciting period of evolution and growth in homeopathy, and to have met some wonderful people and made some great friends along the way.

I am sure the current oppression of the "Art of Cure" will come to an end soon, the pendulum must swing both ways, and homeopathy will be a mainstay of the "One Health" concept in the future."

Mark’s Fellowship was awarded at the Faculty of Homeopathy’s AGM held in May. Fellows of the Faculty of Homeopathy are nominated by other fellows of the Faculty of Homeopathy.
