[post_content] => Its recent student-led wellness event proved an all-round success for the Homeopathic College of East Anglia in Norwich.

Held at Norwich School in the city centre, the event promoted a range of skills useful for the budding homeopathic practitioner including website development, leaflet and poster design, marketing and promotion via social media.

“The day was well attended and also provided a great opportunity for students to network with practitioners of other like-minded therapies,” said principal Trish Stephenson.

“The main focus was on how people can use a variety of approaches – especially complementary therapies, including homeopathy, of course – to improve their health and wellbeing.”

This theme proved very popular and timely, she added, having been designed to build on the current interest in promoting wellness, further highlighted by the publication of NHS England’s draft Long Term Plan.

The college’s introduction to homeopathy days have also been well attended with positive responses to treatment and training, Trish adds.

“With our Norwich city centre student clinical teaching facility, we always have a broad range of patient conditions for our students to experience. This enables us to bring tuition and theory to life in a hands-on, fascinating manner.”

Recruitment for October 2019 entry is also progressing encouragingly well, Trish added.

Meanwhile, the North West College of Homeopathy has moved into its new premises at Belmont House in Stockport.

“Everyone is really enjoying the new space, especially the cafeteria with ‘proper’ coffee and fresh flowers,” said principal Zoe Holden. “Feedback from staff and students alike has been really positive about our new facilities.

The college is looking to end its academic year with a flourish with Dr Jonathan Hardy teaching all four year groups in July and attending the graduation ceremony.

“Meanwhile, behind the scenes, next year’s timetables are being carefully constructed. We’ve got some great surprises in store for CPD so watch this space,” Zoe added.
