Judith is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and has a Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Wales.
With more than 30 years’ experience at senior level in strategic and operational Human Resources Management, Judith now operates her own HR consultancy, assisting clients with managing grievance and disciplinary issues in the various guises of Investigator, Advisor, Chair of Hearings and Mediator as well as advising on day-to-day HR issues. She also has specific expertise in Equality and Diversity. Appointed as an Employment Tribunal Member in 1998, Judith has held the role of Independent Member for Police Misconduct Panels in South Wales since 2004.
She is also an Equality Assessor in the County Courts in Wales. Judith was Chair of the South East Wales CIPD Branch from 2001 to 2003. Judith’s early career was spent working in London, Singapore and Malta and latterly in Germany. She held senior HR posts in Financial Services, the NHS, Manufacturing and the Welsh Development Agency before deciding to set up her own consultancy.
Although Judith often works with small businesses, she has also assisted a number of local authorities on behalf of the Wales Audit Office and was previously an Assessor for the Welsh Assembly Government’s Health At Work programme (Corporate Health Standard).
