Whether your course is new, or is already operating, you will want to offer your students assurance of quality and the knowledge that you have achieved the recognition of the longest-standing professional organisation for homeopaths.
Our aim is to make this process as straightforward and rewarding as possible. As busy practitioners and teachers, you need to be sure that your commitment is beneficial and supportive to the development of your course
The Society is committed to ensuring that high standards are maintained in education and practice and to working in partnership with other organisations which share these goals.
We have a dedicated Education Department, with dual-qualified Education Advisors and sound administrative back-up. For 20 years, we have worked through consultative processes to set and maintain the standards of professional education in homeopathy.
By engaging positively with the Society’s recognition system, colleges work with us to ensure their students receive an education that is comprehensive, professional and vibrant, and publicly endorsed by an experienced panel of independent reviewers.
If you are interested in applying for Society Recognition of your course, our introductory booklet “Guide to the Process” provides clear answers to many of the questions you will have, steering you through the essential stages of the application process, with links to appropriate helpful references.
Whilst fulfilling this crucial regulatory function, we believe in supporting course providers and teachers of homeopathy to share and develop enthusiasm and expertise in their work. We facilitate an ongoing programme of self-evaluation and feedback, regular visits and educational workshops. We also highlight good practice through our annual Teaching Innovation Award.
